Mmm! I finally found the time to blog about RICE.. something that i was supposed to do like ages ago.. which is a mistake cos i pretty much forgot what happened now... hahaha

Well, picked up diana at like 1:30 and we went to central station together.
It was quite fun actually, we walked pretty much the whole of Pitt street trying to find this magic shop that Diana needed to go to for some 'bicycle' cards or something. IT WAS TIRING! and the day hasnt even started yet..

uhh, i think we then stopped by the entertainment centre to buy pris her Rice ticket but it turns out that the tickets werent for sale until 4! so we ventured off into the 'cat shop' and we did a series of other things taht i dont remember. Uhh, we bought pris' ticket and we met her at morning glory! and we ate lunch/dinner at the food court and waited for elaine to come. haha, during the whole time, we texted elaine non stop.

Rice Rally itself was really fun. I liked it, it felt like an actual concert.. with the band and glowsticks.. played a game called 'king crap.. something' and got our glowsticks confiscated because other people were chucking them. Steve talked for a while which was really enriching, and the whole atmosphere of the event was really good! loved it when we were all singing.

uhh, it's really brief cos i dont remember what happened.. lol

Today was a nice day
The sun was shining
there was free stuff...ooh especially uts =D

at the nursing/midwifery tour....started to change my mind whether or not i wanted to do that course....
reason why is because of the hardwork, the wounds, injuries, i don't like some aspects of their work there and i'd most likely panic and die when a patient is having a seizure or something
so i'm leaning more onto science...especially traditional chinese medicine.... haha...
but the problem is i don't think there are many job opportunities for traditional chinese medicine and i need to pick up a bridging course for it....

but yeah...so a lot of people at both uni's
scabbed a paddle pop, free drink, pens and other stuff

oh yeah, from the popcorn venue, each free popcorn packet you get, you have a chance on winning a prize....
i looked into my popcorn packet and saw that i won 2 tickets to see the halo premier or something?
the bad news is....it's on this coming wednesday....
i may or may not go....
don't know....i get to invite one other person.... =S haha....
maybe i should go? maybe i shouldn't.... gna have to find out the details bout it...

at the bathroom, i was looking at my left eye and i realised there's this weird clear bubble under my eyelid....i think i'm going to go blind,
it's freaking me out...that's unatural....
i looked at my other eye and it didn have it...
damn no wonder my eye felt so weird....
but omg!!! how do i get rid of it!? help?! i think on monday im going to talk to mrs.anand about it....see if it does any harm....or should i google it??

I know I shouldn't be blogging, well not right now since I have a major due but couldn't help it...

Today was an interesting day. Despite being it one of the most stressful and frustrating days of my life, there it ironically also gave a glint of hope and different point view of life.

As I was on the bus I saw a really old couple, holding hands. They weren't talking, but they seemed to be at peace and harmony with each other. They were walking slowly, both having expressionless faces....and I thought how nice it was to see two old people being in love together for so long...

i questioned to myself how, despite their struggles they had to face (e.g. perhaps the WWI, Great Depression, the Revolution of the 1960's, Feminist movement) they still managed to somehow get through it all together....

Through this elderly couple, I look at my position and see that my struggle is nothing compared to theirs....

anyway...i'm really tired....so sleepy despite it being only 4:39pm....

ah well, good luck for ext hist people!

We should like totally celebrate this day every year! ^^

Monday:
Had maths exam, which i think i didnt do so good in. I hope i pass... as long as i pass no one will tell me off. Was sitting in front of Pris and diagonally across from diana. could hear pris scribbling and asking for more paper... argh, so intimidating.. i also glanced at diana too! ahhh, you were writing so furiously, as opposed to me... who appparently was just sitting there and looking up.

Tuesday:
Probably one of the toughest days of the week. Had a double exam and i didnt even get much sleep. Did ancient in the morning and then Society and culture in the arvo. By the end of the day, my writing hand really hurted, which was why im so grateful for the fact that i will be doing my history extension essay on the computer rather than holding a pen. Stay up till 3 pris! and Diana, being the good girl she is, stopped talking to us so she could focus.

Wednesday:
Funnest day of the week for me. It was quite relaxing, except for the fact that i had the PIP always in the back of my mind. hehehe, made diana wear all these clothes, and made pris wear this really big shoulder padded dress.. lol. Yeah, diana was right about us... She kept forcing us to do work and to study, but we basically brushed her off, telling her we still had tomoro to study. Feeding you guys chicken nuggets was funny ~~ lol, we should totally do that again!

Thursday:
Did PIP.

Friday:
went to school with the aim of constantly annoying mr hind. saw jess chow in the morning, and we started working on our major works in the library. Saw clara as well... studying some newspaper article. Then Pris came up to us and left a few minutes after to study for geo. we got kicked out of the library cos if debating, so we found refuge at A14, where mr Meehan was nice enough to let us use the computer room. Saw diana walk down towards the school from A14!! ^^ met up with diana.. and i guess the day just went by like a blur... got our hist ext marks back and am starting to feel guilty for bugging mr hind so much. Guys wanna pitch in to get a present for him at the end of school? ideas?

Ahh, i think i should go sleep. BTW! i sent an email to mr hind asking him a few questions about history extension and whether we can send him emails. If you guys read this on saturday morning, mr Hind is going to check his email in the arvo, so do what you can. but once he replies i'll tell you what he says.

Good luck with major works! it's only 5 pages long, so it's not that bad. =D And after trials we can watch We Got Married.. or i'll show you segments of We Got Married.

we all stayed up real late till the morning, diana was the first to go at 12am? around then...pansy left at 2am or maybe later?
i...sadly did an all nighter
this is my 2nd all nighter....my heart feels odd and i realised my skin has gone more darker and i got lines from my eyes....TT"....

Tuesday:
Handed in ext his stuff and went over diana's house then pansy's house.... =D
it was awesome...but diana's house was very bludgy, none of us did work and we doodled around =D

sorry guys for not blogging for a .. VERY VERY VERY LONG TIME T_T too much stuff happening and all =\ i was going to blog after trials (history extension last exam) but seeing what happened today.. meh ...

Today i've been contemplating with myself whether i should drop 2unit maths cause as i did the past 2unit hsc maths exam papers i'm getting most questions wrong
the only questions i'm getting right is questions 1 and 2
the rest....i don't know...they all seem unfamilar to me
i can't remember the formulas and it seems so hard

There are 2 things i regret not doing in yr 12:
1. Dropping geography and changing to senior science or biology
2. dropping 2 unit maths and changing to general

i don't even know why i chose geography, i hate geography and yet i chose it for some odd reason
maybe it's cause i heard that we got to camp (which we didn't so that's why i chose it)

i'm on maths online now and there's so much stuff to learn for general
either way, it's either me failing in general or maths.....

i'm scared i'm not going to get into my course....cause i predict that for my uai i'm going to get:
Band 3 or 4 in geo
band 4 or 5 in modern history
band 5 in food tech
band 4 or 5 in standard english
band 3 or 4 in ext his
band 1 or 2 or 3 in maths

so i'm predicting i'll get around 60 - 75 uai....

maths and geo are my real let downs
i know the 2010 trials and hsc ain't going to be easy...

i know...no matter how hard i try i can't seem to understand 2 unit maths...
maths just crushed my spirit....and i'm so lost and confused

maybe i should talk about it to mr.fadoulli and mrs.strilakos, but i'm scared i'm going to cry...lol
and i know if i drop down i'm going to piss my whole family off
my mum's going to get really annoyed and my sister's going to start lecturing me and i know after that i'd feel like giving up

maybe i should just try and study 2 unit maths every lunch time after the trials and get ms.strilakos help me....

i believe there is still a lil hope for me to do well....as long as i get over 60 then i'd be happy....
and i should probrably consider the mistakes i'm making as something to learn about and be appreciative of...

Monday:
so i think on monday finished maths test...aiya and went to stephen to parra then caught the bus from parra to towers
then...uhhh....what did i do?
oh, i think on wednesday had to hand in our ext history stuff
so on tues pansy, diana and i did our ext his stuff, cept pansy had test from 8:50-4? diana had test 8:50-12? not sure...the times...but yea
we all stayed up real late till the morning, diana was the first to go at 12am? around then...pansy left at 2am or maybe later?
i...sadly did an all nighter
this is my 2nd all nighter....my heart feels odd and i realised my skin has gone more darker and i got lines from my eyes....TT"....

Tuesday:
Handed in ext his stuff and went over diana's house then pansy's house.... =D
it was awesome...but diana's house was very bludgy, none of us did work and we doodled around =D

Today:
Blogging and finished geo exam...terrible

Weekends:
3rd all nighter will be coming up at monday.... TT"

sorry guys for not blogging for a .. VERY VERY VERY LONG TIME T_T too much stuff happening and all =\ i was going to blog after trials (history extension last exam) but seeing what happened today.. meh ...

Today i've been contemplating with myself whether i should drop 2unit maths cause as i did the past 2unit hsc maths exam papers i'm getting most questions wrong
the only questions i'm getting right is questions 1 and 2
the rest....i don't know...they all seem unfamilar to me
i can't remember the formulas and it seems so hard

There are 2 things i regret not doing in yr 12:
1. Dropping geography and changing to senior science or biology
2. dropping 2 unit maths and changing to general

i don't even know why i chose geography, i hate geography and yet i chose it for some odd reason
maybe it's cause i heard that we got to camp (which we didn't so that's why i chose it)

i'm on maths online now and there's so much stuff to learn for general
either way, it's either me failing in general or maths.....

i'm scared i'm not going to get into my course....cause i predict that for my uai i'm going to get:
Band 3 or 4 in geo
band 4 or 5 in modern history
band 5 in food tech
band 4 or 5 in standard english
band 3 or 4 in ext his
band 1 or 2 or 3 in maths

so i'm predicting i'll get around 60 - 75 uai....

maths and geo are my real let downs
i know the 2010 trials and hsc ain't going to be easy...

i know...no matter how hard i try i can't seem to understand 2 unit maths...
maths just crushed my spirit....and i'm so lost and confused

maybe i should talk about it to mr.fadoulli and mrs.strilakos, but i'm scared i'm going to cry...lol
and i know if i drop down i'm going to piss my whole family off
my mum's going to get really annoyed and my sister's going to start lecturing me and i know after that i'd feel like giving up

maybe i should just try and study 2 unit maths every lunch time after the trials and get ms.strilakos help me....

i believe there is still a lil hope for me to do well....as long as i get over 60 then i'd be happy....
and i should probrably consider the mistakes i'm making as something to learn about and be appreciative of...

oh yeah, you might find this pretty sad of me, but i wrote a lil message to myself on my phone to not give up and if i kept trying there will be a solution....it's working actually cause there are many times in maths where i just feel like giving up....
